Within the walls of a poor dwelling,
Once upon a time, a monk lived.
In a cell, a beggar and simple
He sang psalms humbly.
Moving away from the power of evil -
By meekness and faith.
He called young souls
On the path of humility.
He called for mercy
All, he, generations.

The image of meekness itself.
In the form of an old man, he is a simple,
But spiritual strength is a hero.
How many hardships and persecutions
He endured during his lifetime.
And today he is not in oblivion.
He was Exalted by God.

Preaching goodness.
Wove mats. And diligently
He sang psalms, in spite of misfortune.
Poverty endured meekly,
Pain, beatings, slander.
He glorified meekness steadily.
And nurtured a dream.
He saw the world as merciful,
And humble laity.
> And that an evil spirit, arrogant -
Hidden forever in the fog!
