On the territory of Kazakhstan, Kurban-Ait was first celebrated in the X-XIII centuries.
Just at this moment in the Central The Muslim faith was spreading in Asia.

The essence of the festival is to show the mercy and greatness of Allah. Therefore, when sacrificing an animal, the meat is divided into three equal parts. One third is left for the family, the second is given to needy relatives and neighbors, and the third is given to disadvantaged people.

In the dock time, the holiday in the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the national games Kyz-Kuu and Kokpar. On these days, people received guests, a festive table was laid in every house.

For the first time, the day of celebration of Kurban Ait was approved as a day off under Elbasy N. Nazarbayev, as well as the Day of Nativity of Christ.

The interfaith and interethnic model of harmony in our country is the basis of peace, respect and understanding of the people of Kazakhstan. And a vivid example for many countries. But this is a completely different topic!
