This is a traditional, ancient East Slavic holiday. With numerous customs that have come down to our days through the centuries.
A holiday is celebrated during the week before Lent. Cheerful, fiery, preserving the elements of Slavic mythology in its rituals.
Maslenitsa is the border of winter and spring!
