Victory day poem for veterans!

VETERANS OF THE FATHERLAND!

Time heals war wounds,
Stifling souls with a quiet groan,
But veterans cannot forget
Cannonade, deafening ringing .
The boundaries are washed away with sweat and blood
Between the past and the future,
But there are still living pages
Not burned by the hot fire.

The faces have aged and wrinkled,
Dim and wilted eyes,
On the cheek a meager drop is sparkling
A fighting stingy tear.
Raising a trembling hand,
Give honor to the Motherland again!
For Russia, for my brother, for my grandson!
They say military - "Yes!"

Everyone remembers fellow soldiers
Those who were faithful to the Motherland!
We honor the memory with a minute of silence
Those who became the pledge of war ...
Often hearts whine wounds
An echo of military awards,
And veterans are always ready,
To give their lives for the Fatherland!
