Every year, on the first Monday of October, many countries celebrate the International Doctor's Day, which is considered the day of solidarity and active action of doctors around the world. After all, the main goal of a doctor of any nationality is to improve and preserve the health of patients.

The initiators of the creation of this holiday were the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Medical Humanitarian Organization "Médecins sans Frontières".

This the day is not without reason called the Day of Solidarity of Doctors of the World, because regardless of nationality, age, citizenship and religious affiliation of doctors, they all unite to save human lives.
