A bit of history ...

International Day of Archives.
This holiday, celebrated annually on June 9, was established by the International Council on Archives (ICA) in November 2007 at the General Assembly in Canada.
The date for the holiday was It was not chosen by chance - it was on this day, in 1948, that the UIA was founded by the decision of UNESCO and under its auspices. This date has been designated as International Day of Archives. And this first holiday, which took place in 2008, became at the same time the 60th anniversary of the ISA.
