Day of Russia is one of the "youngest" public holidays in our country. ⠀
June 12 can be confidently called the birthday of the Russian Federation. In the now distant 1990, it was on this day that the "Declaration on State Sovereignty of the RSFSR" was adopted. Nevertheless, the holiday acquired its today's name only in 2002. ⠀
